Enterprise Systems Helps Landmark Financial Corporation Increase Productivity and Reduce Costs with Citrix Thin Client Installation

GOLDEN, Co., January-Enterprise Systems, a local technology solutions provider, announced that they were awarded, and have completed, a Citrix thin client network installation for Landmark Financial Corporation in Englewood, CO. The project represented an entire replacement of Landmark's IT Network. The installation will help Landmark cut long-term IT costs and improve worker productivity by streamlining network administration, improving network security and allowing secure access for employees working remotely. Cutting costs and improving productivity is extremely appealing to any business in today's economy.

"This is a complete change from a PC-based network", said Landmark Financial CFO Steve Eastridge, "The old system was a patchwork of PC's connected to a main server. The system was unreliable and required extensive maintenance on the server, as well as the individual workstations."

"The reliability of Citrix has been impeccable. Problems are diagnosed and resolved more efficiently and often times remotely. We are able to ensure that every employee has access to the newest versions of applications, the best security protection and the latest virus software," commented Eastridge. "Work now gets done faster because of the enhanced processing of a central server system and the elimination of workstation problems. Employee response has been very positive. We are looking forward to long-term cost savings on maintenance."

Enterprise Systems began the network changeover by switching Landmark to a Citrix-based thin client system. This centralized all applications on one server and replaced PC's with terminals. The thin client set-up allowed for system maintenance to be done directly on the main server and immediately implemented on all terminals. Once the Citrix system was running, Enterprise Systems installed a wireless Cisco LAN to give Landmark employees flexibility. Landmark plans to relocate within the next year and wanted a system that would be easy to move, and wanted to give employees mobility within the office.
